Community dance is a collective term for creative activities performed by the general public together with dancers in the community and in educational settings, regardless of whether they are children or the elderly with or without disabilities. From the viewpoint of revitalizing society and fostering people's expressiveness and communication skills, dance is being actively adopted in rehabilitation facilities such as communities and schools, as well as rehabilitation facilities such as juvenile training centers

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

コミュニティダンスとは、子どもから高齢者まで障がいのあるなしにかかわらず、一般の人々がダンサーとともに地域や教育現場などで行う創造的な活動の総称で、英国では1970年代から始まってきました。社会を活性化させ、人々の表現力やコミュニケーション能力を育むという観点から、英国では地域や学校をはじめ、少年院などの更生施設でもダンスが積極的に取り入れられています。
